Small Grants Program
Information for the 2019 Small Grants Program will be announced in the Fall.
The Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute (UHI) Small Grants Program stimulates and advances community-university collaborations around research and program development.
Grants are awarded to partnerships between a student or faculty member at Johns Hopkins and a community agency or leader. that most successfully demonstrate the potential for advancing the health and well-being of the residents of Baltimore. A cover page with original signatures of both the Hopkins and Community partner is required. In each category, students and faculty are required to partner with a community agency or community leader and vice versa. The funding levels for each category are:
- Faculty-Community Research or Program Development Projects (up to 5 @ $10,000 each)
- Graduate Student-Community Research or Program Development Projects (up to 5 @ $5,000 each)
- Undergraduate Student-Community Research or Program Development Projects (up to 10 @$2,000 each)
