Squandered Resources: Incarceration-It's Consequences, Costs, And Alternatives
Monday, April 28, experts from the academic community in Baltimore and across the country together with local community leaders came together to tackle the pressing issue of the criminal justice system and worked toward ensuring healthier, safer lives for Baltimore's youth today and tomorrow. The symposium featured panels of leading experts in the fields of public policy, economics, and social science, ex-offenders and a special panel of community organizers working to improve the livelihoods of both ex-offenders and their communities.

About Social Determinants Of Health Conference
In collaboration with the Office of the Provost, the Social Determinants of Health Symposium is an annual, day-long event that brings together national experts, local community leaders, city residents, and faculty and students from Baltimore colleges and universities to examine a pressing topic related to the root causes of health disparities.
